Olefin®

Olefin fabric is a strong, durable fabric that is resistant to rot and mold. Moreover, it is UV-resistant, moisture-repellent, soft, and comfortable. Therefore, it is extremely suitable for outdoor cushions. Apple Bee outdoor furniture is equipped with cushions featuring Bee Wett® technology. The removable covers are made from Olefin outdoor fabrics.

Maintenance of Olefin cushion covers:

Brush away dirt and dust regularly to prevent it from getting into the fabric fibers. 

Clean up spills immediately to prevent stains. 

Avoid harsh chemicals such as aggressive cleaners or chlorine, as these can damage the fabric. 

Clean gently. Soak the cushion covers in a mild soap and washing solution or machine wash them on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius. 

Rinse the covers thoroughly to remove soap residues. 

Water-repellent treatment. To maintain the water-repellent properties of the fabric, add a small amount of fabric softener to the final rinse. 

Reassemble quickly. Once the covers are washed, place them back on the cushion fillings immediately to ensure a tight, wrinkle-free fit after drying. 

Air dry. Let the cushion covers air dry naturally. Avoid using a dryer or iron, as these can damage the fabric.

Onderhoud Olefin kussenhoezen:

Borstel vuil en stof regelmatig weg om te voorkomen dat het in de stofvezels gaat zitten.

Ruim gemorst vuil onmiddellijk op om vlekken te voorkomen.

Vermijd agressieve chemicaliën zoals agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen of chloor, omdat deze de stof kunnen beschadigen.

Voorzichtig schoonmaken. Week de kussenhoezen in een milde zeep- en wasoplossing of was ze in de machine op een delicaat programma op maximaal 30 graden Celsius.

Spoel de hoezen grondig uit om zeepresten te verwijderen.

Waterafstotende behandeling. Om de waterafstotende eigenschappen van de stof te behouden, voeg je een kleine hoeveelheid van een wasverzachter toe aan de laatste spoelbeurt.

Snel weer in elkaar zetten. Als de hoezen gewassen zijn, plaats ze dan onmiddellijk terug op de kussenvullingen om een strakke, kreukvrije pasvorm te garanderen na het drogen.

Drogen aan de lucht. Laat de kussenhoezen natuurlijk aan de lucht drogen. Vermijd het gebruik van een droger of strijkijzer, omdat deze de stof kunnen beschadigen.
